Rathskeller | 2023
Short narrative tavern brawler, made in collaboration with two other people using Unity and Inky.
The game’s plot revolves around Soren, a man who drinks himself to oblivion at local bars on a daily basis. The player can interact with other tavern patrons, have insightful conversations, get into fights and make impactful decisions.
The game takes place in a pre-industrial fantasy world, with inspirations from eastern and western European cultures from that period.
My responsibility in this project was creating engaging character and environment designs that reflect the personalities of their patrons, as well as the main character’s mental state. The designs were then iterated by me in 2D and 3D art for the game.

Leshy’s Curse | 2023
A short narrative side-scrolling fighting game about a forest deity cursed to perish. Made in Unity.
The game narrative is based on Polish mythology, where the main character is a deity. The narrative of the game has Leshy and his bird companion, Stratim, going through different parts of the forest in search of a way to get rid of the curse that befell the area.
The characters and environment take inspiration from the Medieval era European countryside. The story is told through gameplay, character interactions, and illustrated cutscenes.
The fighting system includes character health, base attacks, a rechargeable special attack, and shielding.

Bring me a dream (a nightmare)

Short interactive fiction about a nightmare demon rethinking their life choices. Made in Twine.
The game is a text-only choice-based adventure based on self-destructive behaviors and their consequences on the human psyche. The inspiration for it was my own experiences, and the duality of expectations placed on people in terms of interpersonal relationships.
The game has three branching routes that depend on player actions with multiple minor choices throughout the gameplay. The theme of the game is being your own enemy and the choice between selfishness and self-sacrifice.
The game was designed with the hope of prompting self-reflection of the player’s behaviors when looking back at the choices they made in the game.

Illness Deal | 2022
Tabletop card game about competing plague doctors.
The game consists of thirty five unique illustrated cards separated into four groups: diseases, events, ingredients, and contracts. There are four individual cardbacks and coin assets designed for the game as well.
The player’s goal is to cure the most diseases and gain the most money throughout the duration of the game. Diseases are cured by collecting and exchanging ingredients. The game has a bidding system for buying ingredient cards, and coin rewards for curing diseases.
